We give you the peace of mind that all your staff members are fit to do the job they have been hired to do.

The PTS Medical assessment required by Sentinel for Network Rail involves the following medical procedures:

  • Medical questionnaire
  • Height
  • Weight & B.M.I.
  • Blood Pressure & Pulse
  • Blood Glucose Level
  • Overall Health
  • Mobility
  • Vision testing
  • Colour Testing
  • Hearing Test

By engaging with Role Training to implement your occupational health needs, you are protecting your business, employees, and project productivity from the misuses of drugs and alcohol. The abuse of drugs and alcohol in the workplace accounts for 60% of fatalities from work-related accidents. Role Training are RISQS accredited to conduct drugs and alcohol screening throughout a variety of industries and sectors. We engage with a qualified nurse who supports our team in undertaking testing in house and on site. Our team have also been trained in the Chain of Custody procedures when handling urine specimens and breath samples.

The D&A screening services include the following:

  • Pre-Placement Drugs and Alcohol Screening
  • Point-of-contact testing
  • Random/unannounced testing
  • Chain of custody
  • for cause testing

Successful completion of the e-learning assessment is required prior to attendance on the practical training day. This course is intended for existing COSS competency holders who wish to be re-certificated. The COSS is the person who is appointed to set up and maintain a safe system of work for a group (2 or more people) who are required to work on or near the line. This course aims to refresh existing COSS in the procedures required for the planning and implementing a safe system of work as well as assessing learners in their attitudes and behaviours while carrying out the role.
